We could even organize a small brainstorming session about a potential plugin upgrade campaign using the tool. This would be an excellent opportunity to:
Discuss the tool’s capabilities
Identify priority plugins for upgrading
Plan a coordinated effort within the community
If there’s interest, we could allocate some time during the Contributor Summit for this discussion. It would be a great way to leverage our collective expertise and drive progress in plugin modernization.
Let us know if you’d like to see this added to the agenda!
We’re reaching out regarding the upcoming Contributor Summit and would greatly appreciate your input.
Attendance
If you can confirm your attendance, please let us know. However, don’t let uncertainty about your availability prevent you from contributing to the planning process.
Topic Suggestions
Whether you’re able to attend or not, we welcome your suggestions for discussion topics. Your input is valuable and will help us create a comprehensive and engaging agenda that serves our community’s needs.
Next Steps
Once we collect all suggestions, we’ll craft an agenda that maximizes value for all participants.
Your contribution is invaluable - organizing this event would not be possible without your support and dedication. Thank you for all your help in making this happen.
I’m Hare Sahani, a second-year IT student and an aspiring contributor. I’m interested in attending the Jenkins Contributor Summit in Brussels on January 31, 2025, as part of my preparation for contributing to Jenkins in GSoC 2025.
If there’s an opportunity to present, I would love to share my journey so far with Jenkins, the challenges I’ve encountered, and the insights I’ve gained as a new contributor.
Looking forward to connecting with the community and learning from experienced contributors!
Thanks for your interest @haresahani ! The contributor summit is intentionally a face to face meeting so that people interact locally in the same meeting room.
Are you based at a location near Brussels? If not, then you probably won’t be able to present at the Contributor Summit.
