The below message was sent out to all those who signed up to attend the contributor summit.

The DevOps World team has been closely following the state, local, and federal guidance (Hurricane Storm Center) on Tropical Storm Ian. The safety of our speakers, customers, partners, and employees continues to be our primary consideration. Therefore, it is out of an abundance of caution for our attendees and their families that we have decided to postpone this week’s onsite event at Orlando World Center Marriott.

The situation continues to be dynamic with weather models predicting a range of outcomes throughout the week. We understand and appreciate that many have taken measures to prepare and travel to the event, including those who are on-site in Orlando already. The decision to change course was not made lightly, but we firmly believe that this is the best course of action.

In the coming days, we will begin plans for a virtual event of which we hope you will be a part of.

Thank you, Alyssa.
I do hope all the people who were on their way to the Contributor Summit are now safe at home, or on their way back.
