My name is Abdulqayyum Ajibike, and I am writing to express my interest in contributing to the **Retool Jenkins.io Contributor Spotlight website** project under Jenkins for Google Summer of Code.
I am particularly interested in the opportunity to modernize the Contributor Spotlight website by migrating from Gatsby.js to Vite.js and React.js while improving UI/UX design, accessibility, and performance. I am excited about contributing to a project that combines frontend engineering, documentation, and community-focused development.
I have experience working with JavaScript-based web development and modern frontend frameworks, and I am eager to improve my knowledge of TypeScript, React, and UI design systems such as Material UI. I am motivated to help redesign the landing and profile pages, optimize loading performance, and ensure responsive, accessible user experiences across devices.
