Hello Jenkins Community,

My name is Shaily Gupta, and I am a third-year Computer Science undergraduate with a strong interest in frontend development, UI/UX design, and modern web tooling.

I am particularly interested in contributing to the Retool Jenkins.io Contributor Spotlight project, especially the migration from Gatsby.js to Vite + React, along with improvements in performance, accessibility, and maintainability.

I have hands-on experience with React, Vite, and JavaScript, and have built responsive web applications. I am currently reviewing the existing Contributor Spotlight implementation to better understand its structure, dependencies, and data workflow.

I would appreciate guidance on:

  • Beginner-friendly issues in this repository

  • Any migration constraints or architectural considerations

  • Recommended first contributions to get started

  • Whether there are Jenkins.io design/branding guidelines that must be followed

  • Whether the current data workflow should be preserved or can be improved
