My name is Yatharth Katta, a B.Tech student at Newton School of Technology, Rishihood University. I have been contributing to Jenkins since February 2026, with merged PRs in contributor-spotlight, jenkins.io and stories
I am applying for the Retool Contributor Spotlight Website project for GSoC 2026. The project involves migrating contributors.jenkins.io from Gatsby.js to Vite.js with React.js and TypeScript, redesigning both the landing and profile pages using Material UI, achieving WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance, and delivering Lighthouse scores above 90.

Having contributed directly to this repository, I have run the project locally, audited the codebase file by file, and grounded every technical decision in findings from the actual code rather than assumptions. I would genuinely appreciate any feedback on the technical approach, the phase breakdown, the timeline, or anything else the mentors or community feel needs more thought.
