[GSoC 2026 PROPOSAL] Yash Nilesh Kasare - AI Chatbot to Guide User Workflow

Hello Jenkins Community and Mentors,

I am Yash Nilesh Kasare, a third-year B.E. student in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science with a current CGPA of 8.6/10. I am writing to formally introduce myself and my proposal for the “AI Chatbot to Guide User Workflow” project.

Background & Motivation: I have a deep interest in the intersection of DevOps and Generative AI. I have previously developed LLM-based applications, including “Clinicos AI” and an AI-assisted timetable generator. My experience with Java and Python (specifically RAG frameworks) aligns with the project’s technical needs. I want to help Jenkins users by providing a native, intelligent interface for documentation retrieval and diagnosing build errors.

Project Goal: My proposal focuses on building a RAG-powered chatbot integrated into the Jenkins dashboard. It will utilize a Java-based plugin for the UI and a Python FastAPI backend for the LLM logic and vector search.

I have submitted my formal PDF proposal to the GSoC portal and would appreciate any feedback or guidance from the mentors as I begin my journey with the community.
