Subject: [GSoC 2026 Proposal] AI-powered Jenkins chatbot for intelligent workflow guidance and troubleshooting
Hello Jenkins Community and GSoC Mentors,
My name is Shehan Perera, and I am an undergraduate student from Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka. I have officially submitted my proposal for the “AI Chatbot to Guide User Workflow” project idea.
My proposal focuses on: “Developing an AI-powered chatbot integrated into the Jenkins dashboard using React + JavaScript/TypeScript. “ Implementing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture using LlamaIndex and FastAPI to provide context-aware documentation and troubleshooting support. * Utilizing spaCy and PyTorch for the NLP backend to ensure accurate intent classification.
I would greatly appreciate any early feedback or suggestions on my technical approach or implementation plan. I am also looking forward to discussing the project further with the potential mentors: @krisstern, and @shivaylamba.
