GSoC 2026 Interest – Retool Jenkins.io Website Success Stories

Hi everyone,

I’m Jency, an Information Technology student from India, interested in contributing to Jenkins for GSoC 2026, specifically the “Retool Jenkins.io Website Success Stories” project.

I’ve been exploring the current success stories section on the Jenkins website and reviewing the related repository to understand how the content is currently structured and managed. I’m particularly interested in improving the structure, maintainability, and overall user experience of these pages, and exploring ways to make the stories more structured, discoverable, and easier to maintain.

I have experience working with React, Node.js, and open-source collaboration through programs like GirlScript Summer of Code, where I contributed to multiple repositories and also mentored contributors. I’m excited to start contributing to the Jenkins ecosystem and would appreciate guidance on where I can begin helping with improvements related to this project.

Looking forward to collaborating with the community.

Update:

Hi,

I’ve started by understanding the project structure and have explored the website repositories in depth. I’ve cloned the repo locally and gone through the existing implementation of the success stories section. I’m also actively following community discussions to stay aligned.

I’ve been working on a redesigned UI/UX for this page with a focus on improving readability, structure, and overall user experience while keeping it consistent with Jenkins’ design. I’m refining it further and plan to share it soon.

I also wanted to ask — are there any specific expectations or direction regarding the kind of redesign Jenkins is looking for (for example, storytelling improvements, layout restructuring, better filtering, visuals, etc.)?

I’m preparing my proposal alongside this and would really appreciate any guidance or feedback to ensure I’m on the right track.

Thank you for your time!
