Agenda:

  • Welcome Stefan and congrats as Events Officer!
  • FOSDEM
    • Contributor summit at FOSDEM - Planning discussion
    • Stand planning doc - volunteers needed to staff the stand
    • AT to add events to Jenkins calendar
    • AT to request for budget from governance board for stickers
  • Jenkins Newcomers proposal - Raunak
    • Goal is to make community more inclusive for newcomers
    • Explain what is Jenkins, CI/CD, resourceful links, know how’s, etc
    • Bi-weekly meeting to begin with
    • Sessions with maintainers and long time contributors

    • Begin after the new year, perhaps after FOSDEM
    • Trial run during IST time zone
  • Alyssa steps back as Advocacy & Outreach SIG chair, will hand the baton over to Stefan. Will be around to support Stefan as needed.
  • GSoC 2026 Preparations
    • Two new org admins Shivay Lamba and Vutukuri Sreenivas
    • Planned meeting for next week around mid-December
    • Getting ready to find more mentors and come up with more project ideas
    • AT to help w GSoC application
