Thanks to contributors πŸ™

This is a topic for thanking Jenkins contributors and community members. If you are grateful for something that happened in the community (new feature, fix, assistance, exemplary behavior and attitude, etc., etc.), consider thanking the contributor(s) in this thread!

You can also post your thanks in social media and just add links here. Twitter and LinkedIn posts will be rendered well, and Jenkins social media managers will know what to repost. More buzz is better for the prohject visibility and onboarding even more great contributors!

For long praise messages and discussions you can also create new topics with the Topics tagged praise label

Thanks @olblak for all the contributions to Jenkins! Olivier has been a Jenkins Infrastructure Officer since 2018, and he has a key Jenkins contributor ever since!

Some key highlights, it’s not the entire list!

  • Leading and maintaining the Jenkins infrastructure for more than 4 years, often single-handedly. Olivier has helped to build the new generation of the Jenkins Infra Team members.
  • Moving Jenkins to Azure and then to Kubernetes and Helm chats. With a lot of Puppet and AWS tinkering
  • New Jenkins Release infrastructure - GitHub - jenkins-infra/release: Contains every things needed to release jenkins core from the jenkins infra project
  • Supporting Jenkins governance processes, including the 2019/2020 elections
  • UpdateCLI - dependency update manager for the Jenkins infrastructure
  • Last but not least, being an awesome teammate!

Signed by the Jenkins Contributor Summit participants  I did a live demo
