Rotating Jenkins Logs ( /var/log/jenkins/jenkins.log )

Hello,

I want to rotate the main Jenkins log file which is /var/log/jenkins/jenkins.log. ( We are running the Jenkins on a VM with Amazon Linux 2 OS ).

What are the possibilities of doing this? I’m preferably looking for a Jenkins plugin which can do this.

why the requirement on a jenkins plugin? why not rotatelogs tool?
