I am new to jenkins, and am not finding the environment interesting as many buttons or actions are not functioning or responding well. most pages not responding well, am using jenkins on ubuntu linux.
You’ll need to give us more information if we are going to be able to help. What buttons are not working? How are they not working? What have you tried? Have you looked in the logs?

Simply go back and then reload your page. You’ll be fine.
I have done that several times for different pages, pages are not loading completely especially if if you have to make a choice from a dropdown or a selection box, the required sub or child interface is now displayed, am I the only one experiencing this?

Jenkins 2.414.1 on ubuntu linux server on AWS
I an using Jenkins 2.414.1 on Ubuntu Linux on AWS server, I also using jdk17. I really dont know what to suspect or troubleshoot. It even persisted as i am responding.
Can you check if there are any errors in the Jenkins logs? If you installed using yum/apt/etc. you can use these commands to view the logs:
