How to update Jenkins on Red Hat/Alma/Rocky

Hello all!

First of all let me say that Jenkins rocks!

Few months ago I’ve installed Jenkins following Linux Installation.
Currently I’m using Jenkins Version 2.440.2.

Now I need to update Jenkins to the latest version. Are you able to tell me what are the steps in order to perform such an update?

I’m wondering if those steps are doing the job:

sudo service jenkins stop
yum update jenkins
sudo service jenkins start
