Agenda:

  • GSoC contributor updates, any challenges/roadblocks?
    • Maintainability for the RPU – Phillipp
      • Can’t make it to the meeting due to illness
    • OpenRewrite – Sridhar
      • We made our first release of the tool (Link to jar)
      • We are working on minor improvements and enhancements in the tool
      • We completed GH integration (which needs some improvements)
      • In the following week, we will work on adding more recipes to the tool, updating the docs and other minor improvements.
    • LLM Model – Nour
      • Cannot make it to the meeting
      • We worked on approving the last retouches of the software
      • updated the readme so anyone can clone and run it locally
      • Working on fine tuning the model again
      • Converting the model to binary format to be able to run it using CPUs
    • Infra Statistics UI – Shlomo
      • Site is looking good. Will begin shifting focus to dependency graph next week.
      • Past few weeks have been focused on improving the speed and usability of the site, as well as refining the existing features.
    • GitHub Permissions - Danyang
      • The PR has been submitted and is currently awaiting review and potential feedback from my mentor Link
      • Working on resolving RPU Issue #3800 while waiting for feedback Issue #3800
  • Upcoming milestones:
    • Are there plans for project extension?
      • Standard coding period end: August 26
      • Extension last date: November 4
      • KS: Alex may want extension for Phillipp
      • VD: Too soon to say, tbd.
    • August 19 - 26: Final week: GSoC contributors submit their final work product and their final mentor evaluation (standard coding period)
    • August 22 @ 1PM UTC - Final Jenkins online meetup?
    • August 26 - Sept 2: Mentors submit final GSoC contributor evaluations (standard coding period)
    • Final blogs for each project. Samples 1, 2 : eta week of August 26
