Hi Jenkins community,

My name is Naveen Kumar Reddy, a second year Computer Science
student (Honours in Data Science) at Vidyashilp University,
Bengaluru.

I am interested in the “Continue AI-Powered Chatbot for Quick
Access to Jenkins Resources” project for GSoC 2026.

About me:

  • Built CyberGuard AI, a chatbot for filing cyber crime complaints
    in 22 Indian languages using FastAPI + OpenAI Whisper + GPT models
  • Built and deployed a Custom GPT assistant for my university
    handling common student queries automatically
  • Skills: Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, React, Docker,
    Prompt Engineering, LLM tools

Questions for the mentors:

  1. Is there existing chatbot code from a previous GSoC year
    I can study and build on?
  2. What LLM backend does the project prefer - OpenAI or
    an open source model?
  3. What would be the best first contribution to get started?
