[GSoC 2025 PROPOSAL] Arbin Mahato - Revamping Jenkins.io Success Stories

Hello everyone! :waving_hand:

I’m Arbin Mahato, a first-year Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) student at Chitkara University, currently enrolled in the Kalvium Program, which focuses on real-world software development skills. I have a strong interest in full-stack development, UI/UX design, and web performance optimization. I’m passionate about creating seamless, interactive, and visually captivating web experiences.

Why Jenkins & This Project?

Jenkins is a powerful CI/CD automation tool that plays a crucial role in modern DevOps and software deployment. I am excited about contributing to this project because:

  • It aligns with my frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js).
  • I enjoy working on UI/UX improvements, dynamic animations, and accessibility enhancements.
  • The project provides an opportunity to enhance the presentation of user success stories, making them more structured, engaging, and visually appealing.
  • A well-optimized Success Stories section can help new users understand Jenkins’ real-world impact, increasing adoption and engagement.

My Technical Background

  • Full-Stack Development: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js.
  • UI/UX Focus: Designed and built interactive web projects with seamless transitions & animations.
  • Hackathon Experience: My team developed a recipe finder website in a hackathon.
  • Capstone Project: Currently building a full-stack music-related web app with a focus on dynamic UI/UX and accessibility.
  • Open Source Contribution: Contributed to swot/JetBrains by adding domains for my Chitkara University, helping thousands of students gain access to JetBrains’ Student Pack (PR merged :white_check_mark:).
