Creating language sub-communities on Discourse

Hello! I would like to create language sub-community channels here. There are many Jenkins users who prefer communicating in other languages, e.g. in French, Spanish or Russian. It would be great to have an opportunity to host these subcommunities within the main Discourse.

What would be the best implementation?

Once we identify moderators, we should encourage those communities to come here, I am just a little bit concerned by the way we organize topics discussion in those languages, but It’s something that can easily evolve.

I think I would add community sub-categories per languages where we could identify moderators and then use tags to organize discussions.

For the sake of learning the moderation tools, I’m super tempted to merge this with the discussion about categories topic, as I think it was sorta addressed there.

No objections

I have created a Chinese forum for a while. In case someone might know it. I left the address here https://community.jenkins-zh.cn/.

I propose to add a Chinese language group next to the other language with a link to https://community.jenkins-zh.cn in the description.
This would just be a placeholder and could block posting
