The Platform Special Interest Group meets every two weeks to discuss topics related to hardware and software environments that run Jenkins controllers and Jenkins agents. The most recent platform related projects have involved Docker build performance improvements, the transition from Java 8 to Java 11 in the default Docker images, and the addition of multi-architecture support to some of the controller images.
Our next scheduled meeting was scheduled for Aug 27, 2021 at 15:00 UTC. I’ll be out of the office on that day. I’ve moved the meeting one week later to Sep 3, 2021 at 15:00 UTC.
We’re also open to considering a different meeting time if you are interested in platform topics but not available at that time.
