Since I’m more technical and not sure how to effectively find and get feedback on social media, so I’m trying here. If someone could respond, it would be very helpful.

  1. What do you think about the project?
  2. My next step is to develop a Jenkins plugin. Any suggestions or input on that?
  3. I’m currently working hard on adding a sandbox where you can run responses to ensure they are valid. Eventually, it might even test itself. What do you think?

Thanks for that tool. I tried a few questions and had about 50% success rate. The successful question that I asked were:

  • How to implement role based access control? (provides good list of steps and links)
  • When does support end for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7? (correctly states RHEL 7 operating system EOL June 2024)
  • When does Jenkins stop supporting Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7? (correctly states Jenkins support for RHEL 7 ended Nov 2023)

The questions that I asked that provided incorrect or incomplete answers were:

  • What Jenkins version requires Java 17? (answered with the start of Java 17 rather than require)
  • What is the last Jenkins version to support Java 8? (mixed Java 8 start of support and end of support in the response)
