"Please provide a change message (optional)" - job config change new message - can it be disabled?

Jenkins setup: version 2.504.3

Hello, after a recent upgrade to 2.504.3, we notice this message pops up when we update a job config: “Please provide a change message (optional)”:

I couldn’t find it in the release notes, perhaps there is any suggestion there about disabling it, but does anyone know if it can be disabled?

yes it can be disabled.
go to Manage Jenkins -> System look for Job Config History → click Advanced, there you find Show change message dialog in config pages for jobs and agents
