I’m on Jenkins 2.462.1. On the page for a given Job the Disable button has disappeared. Was this a change in 2.462.1?
Yes, that is an intentional change in Jenkins 2.462.1. If you use the disable button very frequently, you can restore it by installing the disable job button plugin.
The Jenkins 2.462.1 changelog says:
- Remove Disable project button from project view. (pull 9287)
The Jenkins 2.462.1 upgrade guide says:
Remove disable project from project view
The “Disable project” link has been removed from the project (job) page. A project can be disabled from its “Configure” page.
Users that need frequent access to the “Disable project” button can restore it on the project page with the disable job button plugin.
It was also mentioned in the What’s new broadcast for Jenkins 2.462.1:

Ok, thank you. I tried to find the release notes but I guess I didn’t try hard enough.
