Login issue in Jenkins

Me and my team are not able to login to the Jenkins UI (Version:2.222.4), as it constantly gets stuck at the login page showing the attached error, even after putting the correct LDAP password and username as required, is there any solution for this error?

(I have tried clearing the cache of browser and tried)

You’ll probably want to check your server logs to see if there are errors. We can’t really say why your instance is breaking.

Also 2.222 is really old. At least 150 weeks. Almost 3 years old. I can’t imagine many of the people volunteering time will know much about something that old.
