Hi everyone. I’ve been using Jenkins for a few months to create Unity builds. My pipeline works like this:
- I update the project from GIT in a folder inside the Jenkins workspace
- using Unity in background, I create the build in another folder in the same workspace
- I create a zip file
- I upload the zip file via FTP and delete the local file
To make Unity work properly, I need to manually open the project and set some settings in it. I’m supposed to only do this the first time, but about once a month the projects lose their settings.
Some time ago I also lost all the contents of my workspaces, but I think I solved that problem by deleting the “Workspace Cleanup” plugin.
Is there any way to protect files in a folder so that they aren’t deleted by Jenkins (or otherwise aren’t updated outside of the pipeline)? Or do you have any ideas on a way to control or block these actions by Jenkins?
