  • Maven 3.8.6 upgrade
    • Switched tooling to use tags instead of GitHub releases
    • Using the packer image as definition point for Maven version
  • Unable to sign up to accounts.jenkins.io
    • Mark Waite helped
  • Puppet: enable rotation of the apache error logs
    • 10’s of GB of logs not lingering now
  • Renew update center certificate (crawler and update-center builds failing on trusted.ci.jenkins.io)
    • Renewed by @dduportal, error report when checking plugin signature
    • Tool versions provided by crawler no longer had a valid signature
    • Proposed to add a health check for the crawler file signing
    • JENKINS-66788 Certificate expired report from user but unclear if report is valid
  • Auto notify people based on service routing rules
  • Enable timestamper for pipeline jobs

  • [INFRA-3100] Migrate updates.jenkins.io to another Cloud
    • @smerle working the issue, progressing
  • [ci.jenkins.io] Digital Ocean sponsorship runs out of credits: stopping the cluster
    • @lemeurherve and @dduportal met with DigitalOcean last week
    • DigitalOcean has donated $2700 additional
    • Granting Jenkins membership in their top tier of open source projects
  • [ci.jenkins.io] Provides powershell on the Windows Docker images used on ACI
    • @lemeurherve plans to install most recent powershell on all agents
      • Assure that prior powershell is also available
      • Likely need improvements to the documentation to use pwsh
  • [JENKINS-49707] Evaluate retry conditions to improve the stability of the builds
    • Jesse Glick has implemented a retry facility for infra outages
    • Will test drive it on ci.jenkins.io later this week
  • enable Development integration in Jira
    • Automatically link to GitHub PR’s from inside Jira issues
    • Moved to next milestone
  • Replace s390x Ubuntu 18.04 agent with s390x Ubuntu 20.04 agent
    • Mark Waite create a new issue for ppc64le agent update
  • DockerHub rate limiting
    • Waiting for response from Docker
  • Upgrade to Kubernetes 1.22
    • No change since last week

  • Migrate from workflow-cps-global-lib to pipeline-groovy-lib
    • Install the new plugin
    • Remove the deprecated plugin
  • [plugins.jenkins.io] Top sub-menus do not work
    • Plugin site, likely needs Gavin Mogan
    • May be part of Google Summer of Code pipeline steps doc generator improvements
    • Moved issue to plugin-site repository
  • weekly.ci’s default view description diverged from the defined one
    • Needs review of the configuration as code definition

    • Timestamper plugin not installed on weekly.ci.jenkins.io
      • Added to plugins.txt for Docker images
      • Plugin is installed on weekly.ci but is not active by default
