How to reroute the Jenkins login page to SSO login page when SAML SSO is enabled

When SAML SSO plugin is installed and configured , users were able to login thru IDP and access the jenkins jobs.

but in the jenkins login page under the username and password , there were 2 options

a) sign or
b) login with IDP

users were getting confused by the 2 options and how to reroute the signin page to the SSO url .

Please guide

Optionally redirect all traffic to a specific URL:

Redirect permanent / https://www.example.com/

tried this ( Redirect permanent) in SSL.conf but it is not routing to other url
