I am interested in applying for the “Jenkins email notifications using Outlook SMTP with OAuth” GSoC 2026 project. I am a Java developer with proven Jenkins plugin contribution experience — I have two merged PRs in the cucumber-reports-plugin (#1329, #1333) with full CI passing and no revision requests.
I have already forked the email-ext-plugin repo and am studying the existing SMTP authentication code. Could you point me to any specific areas of the codebase I should focus on, and any existing issues related to OAuth that would help me scope the proposal accurately?
