I am Krishna, and I’m excited to participate in the Jenkins GSoC 2026 cycle. I have already started contributing to the ecosystem (recently merged PR #8815 in jenkins.io) and have successfully set up my local development environment for Jenkins Core.
I am particularly drawn to the ‘Plugin Modernizer Stats Visualization’ project. As Jenkins pushes toward a modern Java 17/21 baseline, I believe providing a clear, data-driven ‘Modernization Scoreboard’ is critical for community motivation and governance.
My initial thoughts involve building a robust ingestion pipeline for the reports generated by the Plugin Modernizer tool and creating a high-performance dashboard (possibly using React and the Jenkins Design System) to visualize these metrics.
I’m eager to hear from potential mentors @krisstern @jonesbusy @CodexRaunak about the preferred data architecture-specifically, whether we should aim for a static-site generation approach or a dynamic service-and any specific metrics the Governance Board is most interested in tracking.
