I’m a Computer Information Systems student , and I’m very excited to apply for GSoC 2026.
I have a strong background in C# and ASP.NET, and I am AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) certified. Because of my experience with the Windows ecosystem and cloud infrastructure, I am specifically interested in the WinSW (Windows Service Wrapper) Modernization project.
I have already cloned the repository and started exploring the codebase. I would love to get some guidance on:
1.Are there any “good first issues” currently available for WinSW?
2.What specific modernization goals should I prioritize in my proposal?
