Hi everyone ![]()
I’m Mahesh. I recently joined the Jenkins community and I’m very interested in starting my open source contributions here.
I have strong fundamentals in C++, completed around 30% of DSA, and I’m also familiar with version control systems.
I had a couple of questions:
- What would be the best way for a beginner to start contributing to Jenkins?
- Are there any beginner-friendly issues or specific repositories I should look at?
Also, since I’ve completed around 30% of DSA, I don’t want to leave it midway. At the same time, I’m highly interested in open source, so I’m planning to start full-stack development for that.
Should I continue DSA along with full-stack, or complete DSA first and then move to development?
My goal is to contribute as much as possible and build strong skills, so I want to follow the right path from the beginning.
Even a small piece of guidance or a short reply from you would mean a lot to me and help me move in the right direction.
Sorry if any of these questions are not very relevant, and thank you so much for your time and support! ![]()
