Hi everyone 
I’m Abhinav, a full-stack developer and new to open source. I’m excited to start contributing to Jenkins and to understand how Jenkins works under the hood.
I’m planning to apply for GSoC 2026 and would appreciate guidance from mentors and experienced contributors on where to start and which areas are suitable for beginners. Any suggestions or recommendations are welcome.
At the moment, I’m going through the documentation to understand the architecture and contribution process. The docs are well structured and very helpful for newcomers.
