  • Today will be mostly rehearsals

  • Alyssa will walk us through the technique and secrets to organizing a meetup

  • Project Statuses

    • GitLab plugin modernisation – Harsh
      • Working on Milestone 2 test cases
      • Going back to work on Milestone 1 test cases as well
      • Exam dates shifted, so can present live
    • Building jenkins.io with alternative tools – Vandit
      • Fixed redirection of pages issue
      • Just raised a PR for the Solutions Pages
      • Ready to give an in-person presentation
    • Docker Quickstart – Ashutosh
      • Created a script for starting Jenkins
      • Milestones 0, 1 done, working on Milestone 2
      • Working on slides for presentation right now
      • Already ran some demos during last Friday’s Docs Office Hours, got positive reviews
    • Plugin Health Scores – Jagruti
      • Finished a probe for GitHub workflow similar to an existing probe
      • Redesign the class to reduce duplication
      • Is something new, learned how to think about refactoring
      • As well as thinking about software architecture design this week
      • Having trouble with mic
  • Jagruti might have time constraints for next week’s presentation

    • Discussed the matter with Alyssa who can start the meeting earlier
    • Changing time is only last resort
    • Ideally Jagruti should start first, so she could drop early if she wants to
    • Harsh wants to do second, so he can drop early to prepare for a big exam to take place on the next day
    • Vandit would like to go third if it is okay with Ashutosh
    • Ashutosh is okay to go in 4th
  • Alyssa explains what we will do during the actual presentation

    • Next week will start session 30 minutes early to do a quick run like mic check
    • Will test again to make sure audio and visual feeds are good to go
    • Everyone will need to do a test run each to make sure things will work as expected
    • There will be a special link in the minutes specific to the webinar, so it can hold up to 500 people
