Jenkins Artifactory to upload Plugin specific release artifact is unavailable from the past few days.

JFrog displays “JFrpg Platform will be unavailable shortly. This might take a few minutes” message.

Thanks for reporting it. It was noted yesterday and is listed on the Jenkins service status page.

Do you need the UI for something?

As far as we can tell, it is used to:

  • Create/verify/setup the accounts by contributors (when following the jenkins.io documentation to release their plugins)
  • Create/update/manage artifact repositories (staging repositories for advisories, virtual repositories, etc.)
  • Search for artifacts per name/id/type etc.
