I’m having a recurring problem when updating Jenkins to the latest version. All of the configuration details, including user management, permissions, and workspace directories, are either reset or lost completely. This then breaks access to the console and each of the items I listed have to be manually configured all over again. Is there a method for persisting configuration between updates to avoid this?
