Is it ok to have “blueocean”, “pipeline-graph-view”, and “pipeline-stage-view” at the same time?

Hi,

I am planning on upgrading to Jenkins Core 2.516.2 LTS in a month.

  • Is it ok to have “blueocean”, “pipeline-graph-view”, and “pipeline-stage-view” at the same time?
  • Is it mandatory to have “pipeline-graph-view” for Jenkins Core 2.516.2 LTS ? I do not see that in the upgrade guide Upgrading to Jenkins LTS 2.516.x.
  • How would the the “Status” page (main page) of a job look like given that “pipeline-stage-view” and “pipeline-graph-view” would try to fill it?

For now, I have “blueocean” and “pipeline-stage-view”. People in my organization use them and rely on them. I want to get them used gradually to “pipeline-graph-view” while still providing the other two (“blueocean” and “pipeline-stage-view”).

You can disable the stage view on the job page via a system property. See Pipeline: Stage View
You can also change if the pipeline-graph-view should show the stages on each job and on each run the pipeline graph via global configuration on the appearance page
