Hi everyone! :waving_hand:

I’m Mehul, a software engineer with strong experience in Java, Golang, and Node.js.

I’m preparing early for GSoC 2027 and want to start contributing to Jenkins. I’ve just created my community account and I’m looking for guidance on where to begin.

I’ve gone through the project ideas page and the contributing guide. I’d love to pick up a good first issue and start getting familiar with the codebase.

Any suggestions on which plugin or area would be best for a newcomer with a Java background would be really appreciated!
