I’m a B.Tech CSE student with experience in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Docker, and Kafka.
I’m very interested in contributing to Jenkins for GSoC 2026.
I have already forked the Jenkins repository and looking to make my first contribution.
Can anyone guide me on which project ideas would be suitable for a beginner contributor?

I have been exploring the Jenkins codebase and I found issue #26285 (Duplicate Jenkins checker monitor disables itself when saving the global configuration) interesting. I believe it involves the monitor configuration saving logic.
I have cloned the repository and started investigating the code. Could you help me understand:
