Ssh verification failure from a worker container in kubernetes pod

Hi people !

I’m getting the error “Host key verification failed” when trying to authenticate with ssh for a git push operation from a worker container in Kubernetes pod.
I have related the question to a (resolved) issue here where I have included some more details.
I would appreciate any help,

What have you tried for solutions?

Quick google search for host key failed docker gives me github - Git push fails because of ssh key: Host key verification failed. from inside a docker - Stack Overflow
