Salesforce authentication failed: Cannot run program "nohup" CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified

While performing the salesforce deployments, i am getting the following error:

Salesforce authentication failed: Cannot run program “nohup” CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified.

Can somebody tell me which file is mentioned in the error. And how to resolve this error?

That may indicate that something is trying to run a Unix command on a Windows agent. The nohup command on Unix is used to run a command immune to hangups, with output to a destination file or other location that is not a terminal / tty.
