when i run Jenkins pipeline i get the following error" No such DSL method ‘updateGiteaCommitStatus’ found",

As i am new in jenkins, can anyone support me for this error ?

I have installed gitea plugin version: 238.v626a_cf5e1940

my jenkins version in Windows: 2.508

i set project item pipeline as below:

Where did you get the command in your snippet from? Is this from a tutorial?

As noted by @uhafner , that is not a valid Pipeline step. The Pipeline steps reference shows that there is a Pipeline step for updateGitlabCommitStatus that is provided by the GitLab plugin.

I think that you want the Gitea checks plugin. It provides a better way to report results to Gitea. It does not require that you modify your Pipeline script. It reports more information than just updating the commit status and will provide a better experience for users.
