I am running Jenkins in a Docker environment, which in turn is running in a virtual machine. This works very well most of the time, but every now and then all jobs fail with this error message (actual address replaced with xxxx):

ERROR: failed to solve: failed to fetch anonymous token: Get “https://auth.docker.io/token?scope=repository%3Alibrary%2Fubuntu%3Apull&service=registry.docker.io”: dial tcp [xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx]:443: connect: cannot assign requested address
When it happens it usually continues to happen for a period of minutes, until it suddenly starts working again.
I have disabled IPv6 on the docker host to no avail.
