Good morning,
I’m trying to evaluate how much the communication between Jenkins and Agents can impact the cost on Aws. I would like to set up Jenkins on ec2 but some nodes are placed on-premise architecture. On aws the outgoing traffic is paid and i see that the communication is bi-directional but I can’t understand how much traffic took maintain the agent always in line with Jenkins. The operation done by the agent are not very frequent and does not require to download content from Jenkins so, I believe that the main cost will be the continuous communications with the agents. Maybe in this type of scenario is better to place the nodes directly on aws? As I told before the use of this type of nodes is infrequent.
Thanks in advance
