Announcements

1. Weekly: 2.407 is out (packages, Docker image, Changelog published)
   • Docker image tag works as expected: next week let’s discuss automating this manual step (e.g. creating tag)
2. Upcoming EOL for CentOS (and other OS) using a new administrative monitor. Expect a bit of noise eventually (and a blog post) on support.

  • I created jenkins account few months ago, now I want to login but it doesn’t login me and when I enter my email it doesn’t respond I am stil waiting for the response.

• Work In Progress:

  • AKS: add cluster publick8s
  • Migrate trusted.ci.jenkins.io from AWS to Azure
    • Should be done on Thursday, 1st of June

  • Install and configure Datadog plugin on ci.jenkins.io
  • Please add Jitpack to repositories available when useArtifactCachingProxy=true
  • Upgrade to Kubernetes 1.25
  • Artifact caching proxy is unreliable
  • Ubuntu 22.04 upgrade campaign
    • Edamame and lettuce first, Radish (puppet.jenkins.io) then
  • Support Linux containers when running on Windows VMs
    • DockerCE → Docker Desktop on Windows packer VMs to try
  • Create an ARM64 nodepool on publick8s to start using arm64 pods
    • PR ready, with a VM sizing for new nodepool
    • The most annoying part was to find the correct setup for an ARM64 machine

• New issues:

  • Recent plugin BOM releases fail after unexpectedly long run time
    • Developer action: dropping one of the supported releases ASAP to decrease time
    • Need to investigate
    • datadog plugin could help
  • Docker container for Matomo
