Your Jenkins version is two years out of date. There are critical security vulnerabilities in that Jenkins version. There are also many improvements that have been made to Jenkins in the last two years. You’ll want to plan your upgrade to a newer Jenkins version and then plan to regularly update to a newer version every month.

Jenkins no longer supports Java 8. Jenkins weekly no longer supports Java 11. Jenkins supports Java 17 and Java 21. Upgrading your Jenkins version will give you access to the newer Java versions as well.
