I have the plugin: Email Extension version 2.84 and I receive notifications by email, if I update to version 2.85 I no longer receive notifications. What is the problem?
Does it say anything in any of the logs?
Check the configuration, I suspect that is related to:

Instead of extension provided fields authentication to the smtp host is now done via credentials.
