Active Choices Reactive Reference Parameter is not working

Hi team, I have upgraded the Jenkins version and after that Active Choices Reactive Reference Parameter is not working. The value is not coming while running jobs with parameter. Kindly guide me to resolve issue.

I had a working job that started acting up with

groovy.lang.MissingPropertyException: No such property: BuildType for class: Script1

after upgrading AC from 2.8.3 to 2.8.4. There seems to be some problem with transitive relations in the new version. My parameter references:

  • ‘ApplicationSelection’->‘ProjectSelection’->‘BuildType’

The exception is thrown at ‘ApplicationSelection’ as AC appers to fail to transitively reference ‘BuildType’ which is properly defined and was working fine in the previous version.

Please, open a JIRA issue on the plugin as the Active Choices 2.8.4 is a major update trying to fix a previous serious regression error. I know that @kinow has contributed extensive work for this, but it’s likely that a few bugs may still exist.

Heyy Guys,

Is there any update on the active choice 2.8.4 plugin ‘ERROR’ ? I have a parameterized job which is running fine for almost 3 years, after the new plugin upgrade 2.8.3–>2.8.4 active choice doesn’t work as expected.

I had to downgrade the plugin to 2.8.3, so that i can run the job. please find a fix for this one
