Stany here, I have experience with Core Java and I’m currently exploring Jenkins. I’m eager to make a meaningful contribution to the Jenkins community and would greatly appreciate any guidance or assistance the community can offer. Thank you.

I think for GSoC 2023 maybe it is a bit too late, as the application has already closed on April 4th UTC. But for contributing to Jenkins in general, maybe you can check out [Participate and Contribute](https://www.jenkins.io/participate/). In particular, if you would like to contribute via code, do pay special attention to [Contribute code](https://www.jenkins.io/participate/code/). Our Mark Waite has also written some documentation regarding how to contribute to open-source available at [Contributing to Open Source - Google Docs](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PKYIpPlRVGsBqrz0Ob1Cv3cefOZ5j2xtGZdWs27kLuw/edit?usp=sharing). So you may use all these as a reference to start your journey with us.
