# Introduction – Mradul Sharma – GSoC 2027 Aspirant (Java/Backend)

Hi everyone!  
I’m Mradul, a 2nd year CS student from VIT Bhopal, India.  
Skills I bring:

- Java (solving LeetCode daily — arrays, binary search, sliding  
window, greedy, stack, some hard problems)
- Backend development (built a Node.js API with JWT auth, refresh  
token rotation, and token family-based reuse detection)
- Currently learning Spring Boot  
I’m preparing for GSoC 2027 with Jenkins as my target org and want  
to start contributing now — not in February when proposals open.  
My plan:
- Start with mcp-server-plugin #250 (README fix) to learn the  
PR workflow
- Move to gitlab-oauth-plugin #242 (NPE fix) as my first Java  
contribution
- Keep going from there  
Would love guidance on:

1. Is mcp-server-plugin #250 still available or already being  
worked on?
2. Any other beginner Java issues you’d recommend for someone  
with my background?
