Announcements

1. Weekly - 2.426 released with 2 major changes
   • Docker image Linux OK, but Windows is waiting (see below)
   • Changelog merged and published
   • 2 Major changes:
     • Prototype.js removal
     • Container images defaults to JDK17 (instead of JDK11) unless specified another JDK
2. Azure VM issues
   • VPN was down (grub package failing)
   • Windows 2019 VM allocations is flaky: ci.j, trusted.ci.j and cert.ci.j are impacted (since ~24h)
     • Need status + ci.jenkins.io message
     • Container images slow to build
3. Services down during a few days last week:
   • Plugin health score
   • Incremental Publisher
   • reports.jenkins.io

  • Assess Artifactory bandwidth reduction options

  • Speed up the Docker image library to create/push tags at the same time for both GH and Docker (instead of running additional build)

  • Remove account request field from Jira login page
    • Need help from Tim or Daniel
  • [publick8s] Ensure high availability of replicated services
    • Wip, almost done (2-3 services left)
    • Scaling happens quite often due to hard anti-affinity but it’s ok
  • Matomo github/docker repos
    • Image and DB OK
    • Next steps: helm chart initial installation
  • Ensure removed jenkins.io pages aren’t accessible and indexed anymore
    • Was on hold
    • Herve will communicate once ready
  • [INFRA-3100] Migrate updates.jenkins.io to another Cloud
    • Succesfully managed an R2 bucket in our Cloudflare sponsorship and used it as a mirror
    • WiP: copying the update JSON not only to PKG vm but also to azure bucket and R2 bucket
