# Ideas - Potential updates to FAQ

**What category should I post to?**

Right now we are trying to grow this forum organically, so categories will come and go. If nothing looks obviously write for your post, please post to the _Uncategorized_ category and one of the moderators will move it.

**How do I get email notifications?**

You can subscribe to a specific post and replies. Or you subscribe to categories.

- To subscribe to a category via category (one at a time)
  1. Select a category from the categories page
  2. Click the bell on the top right and choose one of the options

- To subscribe via preferences
  1. Select your profile photo on the top right
  2. Select the profile icon
  3. Select preferences
  4. Select Categories under notifications

Options:

- Tracking - You’ll get browser notifications of all posts and replies
- Watching - You’ll get browser + email notifications of all posts and replies
- Watching first post - You’ll get browser + email notifications of all new posts

You can also follow a specific post by similar steps

**I can’t find the right tag for my post**

Go ahead and post anyways. Tags can be created by any [level 2 user (anyone who spends 15 days on the forum)](https://community.jenkins.io/t/frequency-of-ux-sig-meetings-2-4-weeks/242).
