# How to configure http to https in oracle linux 8 release?

Hi all,  
I am using jenkins-2.414.2 version in my oracle linux 8 vm. Can anyone help me the steps for configuring https from http.

I configure HTTPS for Jenkins with a [reverse proxy](https://www.jenkins.io/doc/book/system-administration/reverse-proxy-configuration-with-jenkins/reverse-proxy-configuration-nginx/) using certificates provided by [Let’s Encrypt](https://letsencrypt.org/).

Thanks for the reply  
Actually in my instance I can’t able to find jenkins.service inorder to restart the jenkins. In fact this service will be automatically installed in jenkins when we install it right?. However I can able to use jenkins.  
Can you help me with this issue.
